The 20th Series of the Executive Development Programme, EDP for Senior Government Officers in Public Policy and Management organised by the Ministry of Defence is a landmark effort towards shaping leadership and management in the public service and realising the goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035. Speaking at the Closing Ceremony of the Programme, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence also noted the improvements in the programme's modules and appreciated the continuous strong collaboration between the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the Ministry of Defence. The ceremony was held at the Officers' Mess, Bolkiah Garrison.
28 participants received certificates of completion of the course. The EDP programme is an important platform for defence diplomacy, strengthening bilateral relations and collaborative learning with participating friendly nations, including Malaysia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
